It did not take long for that new New York City FC badge to arrive on some team apparel.
A new capsule collection from LiveBreatheFutbol splashes the team's redesigned crest on a sky-blue hoodie, centers the tweaked NYC monogram on a snapback hat, and reminds you of the preferred nomenclature for the club with a new "New York City FC" T-shirt that also has the new badge on the back.

This LiveBreatheFutbol collection drops one day after New York City FC shared the final design for its new crest, the latest step in a "brand refresh" the team first announced it was undertaking on March 5 in the days before the 2024 home opener.

LiveBreatheFutbol is no stranger to the New York City FC merch scene, as they also released this eye-catching anorak jacket earlier this year as part of a league-wide MLS collection.
That anorak jacket had a retro feel, looking a bit like a Starter jacket you might have worn to middle school in the 1990s.
This latest LBF x NYCFC collaboration is all about the future. The three-item run of apparel is the first taste of what’s to come now that the badge the team has sported since 2014 is set to be phased out.
New York City’s announcement of a crest change has been divisive, but for those ready to embrace the new look, you should probably act fast. In announcing this new line of new-badge items from LiveBreatheFutbol, NYCFC said “inventory is limited,” and that limited inventory also doesn’t come cheap.
The hoodie costs $109 before tax and shipping, while the hat is $44.99 and the T-shirt $49.99.
Remains to be seen when this refreshed badge will appear on the front of a New York City FC kit, and what else might be in store as the team promises a bigger rollout of the new badge in 2025.
