New York City FC returned to Leagues Cup action – and Talles Magno returned to the Starting XI for the first time this year – with a scoreless draw in the Bronx. Per tournament rules, New York City earned an extra point after a diving save from Luis Barraza gave the squad a 4-3 triumph in penalty kicks. NYCFC now lead Leagues Cup East Group 1 with two points.

That result helps take the sting out of a largely lifeless game. A heavily rotated New York City squad couldn't break down a defense-heavy Querétaro FC playing with a five-back that smothered the narrow Yankees Soccer Stadium pitch. Now it's time for you to rate the players.

• Talles Magno looked good for spells, but missed the creativity of Santiago Rodríguez and Hannes Wolf in the attack
• For a hot second it looked like 17-year-old Christian McFarlane was going to score
• Alonso Martínez took a rocket of a penalty kick, ditto Jovan Mijatović

The ratings form will remain open until midnight on Monday, July 29 — that's tomorrow. The results will be published on Tuesday, July 30.
