New York City FC looked good but came up short and played New England Revolution to a scoreless draw at home on Matchday 16. Here are your NYCFC highlights.
NYCFC were forced to make last-minute changes to the Starting XI after MLS handed down a surprise suspension to Tayvon Gray earlier this morning. Head coach Nick Cushing fielded a modified back-three featuring Maxime Chanot and midfielders James Sands and Justin Haak. They held the line, and held New England scoreless.
Unfortunately, the attackers were also held scoreless. Give credit to Revolution goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic

At least it was an entertaining game to watch. NYCFC moved the ball well, and many of the team’s shots were oh-so-close to finding the back of the net.

Unfortunately, NYCFC didn’t score, and if you don’t score, you don’t win.
But at least goalkeeper Luis Barraza got a clean sheet.
