NYCFC 0-2 Minnesota United: Rate the Players

This loss hurt.

New York City FC‘s wasteful loss to Minnesota United at Citi Field is maybe the most deflating game the played this year. NYCFC created plenty of chances but couldn’t finish to save their lives, then they gave away two goals. Now it’s time for you to vote on the NYCFC player ratings.

The ratings form will remain open until midnight on Monday, August 21; the results will be published on Tuesday, August 22.

Three thoughts:
• Mounsef Bakrar should be given a chance to grow into the team, but he should have buried one of those chances
• NYCFC are a good team undone by momentary lapses in defense a lack of clinical finishing
• If this team can’t beat Minnesota at home, a team that subbed out their two best players, who can they beat?
