New York City FC put up their most imposing win of the season so far with a decisive 3-1 win over FC Dallas at Citi Field in Queens: Here are your NYCFC video highlights.
NYCFC were in sea-green Parley Kits, and they were the better side throughout the game. New York City could have been up 1-0 after a slicing 16′ minute goal from Gabriel Pereira, but referee Fotis Bazakos VAR’d it off. Was the offside call correct? You can look for yourself on the NYCFC video highlights above — the sequence starts 30 seconds into the clip.

Santiago Rodríguez opened the scoring just before the end of the first half. He scored again in the second half, then Talles Magno added a third goal — the 3-1 is the highest-scoring game for New York City so far this season. That’s the good news. The less-good news is that NYCFC allowed Dallas to score a consolation goal on a corner kick.
Set pieces remain a vulnerability for NYCFC, but the lone goal wasn’t enough to change the result. New York City get a win on a brisk and drizzly Earth Day, and now sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 15 points after nine games. NYCFC are even on points with third-place Atlanta, but trail on goal differential.
