NYCFC vs Toronto FC: Rate the Players

Not the best night for NYCFC. | Courtesy NYCFC.com

The NYCFC vs Toronto game mercifully is over, which can mean only one thing: It’s time to rate the New York City FC players on a chilly night at BMO Field.

We’re adjusting the Player Ratings schedule again, and will keep the form open until noon on Monday, May 1. The ratings will be published later that day.

mostly 2-5 range this time. without Martins & Chanot, in fact, the score would have been like 5-0. Martins’ yelling at IIllenic + Chanot’s pointing out at Magno were quite a scene yesterday.

depth has surfaced as a real menace. Pellegrini is less than half good to Gabi. O’toole’s kinda par/sub to Cufre. Magno & Santi becomes like sh*t without Gabi. without a drastic formation changing, replacing position-to-position on both starting & subbing just don’t work. still in the beginning of the season, one of Gabi, Sands & Keaton goes absence due to yellow accumulation or injury or anything, we need to bite the nail. pretty sure Cushing’s simulating all kinda now. (at which i can be patient). TFC knew exactly how we’re doing and did pretty good job to block/mess up everything and our contingency was too thin. depth is a real menace.
