NYCFC II will open their second season in MLS PRO Next with an away game against New England Revolution II on the plastic grass at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, April 2 at 8 pm ET. The 28-game regular season will carry through to the end of September, and the postseason will take place from Friday, September 29 through the MLS NEXT Pro Cup final on Sunday, October 22.
Just like last year, all NYCFC II home games will be played at the highly functional Belson Stadium on the campus of St John’s University in Queens.
NYCFC II will be in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference along with New England Revolution II, Philadelphia Union 2, TFC II, and the newly inducted Crown Legacy FC (affiliated with Charlotte FC), and New Jersey Red Bulls II. Seven teams in all are joining MLS NEXT Pro, bringing the league to 27 clubs now that Rochester NY FC have ceased operations.
